FAQs
Who can apply for this service?
Any Real Estate Agency, Realtor, Selling Agent or Direct Owner across the world who have a property that they need 3D interior staging for, whereas if the main intention is selling the property or just having some visuals of how a renovation could look like.
How is the process step-by-step?
1. Fill in a form
In order to build a 3D replica of your property we need some things in advance:
-
Your contact details to stay in touch.
-
A link to the listing (if available) which usually contains most of the information we need, such as: location, m2, rooms, type of property, number of floors...etc.
-
Pictures of the property and ideally a video to understand layout as well as specific features that might not be represented in the plans.
-
A distribution plan with measures (including where there are doors, windows, corridors, load-walls, columns, built-in furniture, heaters, water or electric points...etc).
-
The interior design style that you want (select one from our list, or custom one).
-
If you want any add-ons (you can request them on the go).
-
Any extra information that you would like to share with us about the property, the client, the deadline... Anything!
2. Wait for our answer
We will review your application and respond via email during the next 3 business days. We will attach a PDF that contains all the terms, conditions, prices, payments, deadlines, next steps, binding actions, expectations, etc. If needed, we can organize a call or video-call (slack, google meets, Whats App).
3. Pay 50%, wait 2-5 Business days and voila! First set of renders ready!
After agreeing on terms via email and paying the first 50% in advance (binding action), once we receive the first payment, we will start working on your project. Your renders will be ready in 3 to 7 business days depending on property’s size, project’s complexity and requested add-ons. Clients can send us references in case there is anything they really like and would like to integrate.
When the first set is ready, we will send you a link to a Google Drive folder where you will find the low resolution, RENDEX water-marked renders. We will prepare several from different angles (natural, wide, frontal, side, top, isometric, detail...). From those you can choose the ones you want us to deliver in HD. Every package has an amount of renders included. Extra renders will be charged separately.
4. Want any changes?
You’ve received the first set of renders. This is the moment when you can ask for some changes.
A number of changes are included in every plan. What we consider a change:
-
change the color or material of a piece of furniture, decoration item, fixture, lamp, floor(s), wall(s), door(s), window(s);
-
change one piece of furniture for a similar one;
-
add/remove/change/move a piece of furniture or decoration item.
5. Want any extras?
Perhaps you want a top and isometric view of the whole property? Nigh-version of some renders to picture yourself in front of the fireplace on a rainy night? To add your agency’s water-mark on the images so other agencies can’t use them? An specific interior design style? A brochure for marketing? A 3D video animation to post in social media?
You can request add-ons from the beginning or on the go. Just be mindful that they can add considerably extra time to the agreed original deadline.
6. Pay the other 50%, and receive All the deliverables In High-Definition
When you confirm you are happy with the results we will prepare the second invoice. Once we receive the rest of the payment (including extras that you might have requested on the go during the design process), we will proceed to generate the high resolution version of the selected images with no RENDEX water-mark, and the other deliverables (if any). This process can take up til 3 business days, depending on the amount and complexity of the deliverables, but we will try our best to deliver them the same day or next day. When the deliverables are ready, we will send you a link to the folder.
For future projects you don’t need to fill in the form again. You can communicate directly with us via email or Whats App (preferably written) and send listing’s links, images, videos, plans in PDF, etc right there. Whatever works best for you.
What are the available services and add-ons that RENDEX offers at the moment?
-
Distribution Layout Optimization: of one or more rooms, or the entire property. With zero or just minimal structural changes (no load-walls).
-
High-Resolution, Realistic, Renders of Interiors: of one or more rooms, or the entire property. We offer standard, curated and tailored staging. We focus on interiors but exteriors can be requested. By default we generate day-light renders, but night version can be requested. Also extra renders.
-
360 Virtual Tours: of one ore more rooms separately (different links), or over a walk-through property plan that allows the client to move from one space to another in the same tour.
-
Cinematic Transitions: of one or more rooms, or the entire property. We turn a static image into a video. Smooth camera motions to show details of the space.
-
Cinematic "Live Renders": of one or more rooms, or the entire property. We turn a static image (or video) into a video. Possibility to add people interacting with the space (walk in, seat, grab a drink, lean on furniture) and/or to apply micro-movements to items (curtains or plants moved by a breeze).
-
"Before & After" Results: images (we create a render based on an original picture using the same angle), and/or video-version (transition between original image and render).
-
Agency's Water-Mark: we can add the agency's logo over the renders and videos.
-
HD Renders of Isometric and/or Top View: of one or more, or the entire property (if we produce an image of a whole listing but only some rooms where replicated in 3D, the remaining rooms will appear empty).
-
Specific Interior Design Style: the client can provide links or images for reference.
-
Agency's Water-Mark: we can add the agency's logo over the renders and videos.
What is the difference between standard, curated and tailored staging?
-
Standard Staging: we place furniture according to the selected interior design style. No decoration.
-
Curated Staging: we add decoration and details (decoration items, books, flowers, candles, paintings, blankets, extra cushions, baskets, clothes, accessories, beverages, food, kitchen appliances, bathroom toiletries, pets, vehicles, gym equipment....etc.) that turn a beautiful render into an actual lived-in space.
-
Tailored Staging: same as "curated" but the client can request special items (limited by our tool's catalog offering) and their placement.
How we will communicate?
In order to make sure all parties agree with the decisions made, written confirmation format will be mandatory and binding. Meaning, if there is any call or video-call and there are X number of subjects discussed, a summary of those will be sent via email and confirmed prior to us advancing with any new listing, changes or add-ons for an on-going project.
How is the payment method?
Payments are 100% online via bank transfer. We offer bank destination accounts in GBP, EUR and USD to adapt to our clients.
What happens if I want to change everything?
Previous communication is key to make sure we are creating a 3D staging that meets your requirements, taste and standards. So it would be highly improvable that a brand new design is requested. That would be like making a whole new project, and it would be charged as such.
Is it refundable?
No. We have a "no refund" policy for the work done and paid so far. If after applying the included number of changes to meet the client's expectations they are still not happy with the results and they desire to not continue with the process, they can finish the contract immediately, but we will keep the money. In case this situation happened mid-process (only low-quality renders have been delivered), we would stop working on that project immediately and so the remaining amount wouldn’t be charged.
Are there any discounts available?
Yes. We offer special deals for loyal clients. Contact us via email to find out more:
When does the “count-down” time starts for me to receive the first set of renders?
Once the property’s photos and plan with measures has been received and the first payment is effective (which we consider a binding contract regarding our Terms & Conditions), the countdown for the agreed deadline will start. Note that we talk about “business days”, so weekends won’t count.
In what format will I receive the final HD Renders?
By default, JPEG. 1920 × 1080. Landscape format (16:9). Color RGB. No RENDEX water mark (you can request to add your own watermark). You can request other formats and higher resolution 4K (for extra cost).
In what format will I receive the Cinematic Transitions and/or Animations?
By default, MP4. Landscape format (16:9). Type, length and quality will depend on chosen package. Lowest quality is 960 × 540px. You can request other formats and resolutions.
In what format will I receive the 360 Virtual Tour?
The 360 tour is interactive (the user can move 720 degrees, up, down, left, right) and can be seen on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices, and it is compatible with VR technology. We use a platform that comes with certain settings, so we have only partial control over all features related (e.g.: we can't control showing or hiding the items that appear at the bottom sides of the tour; we might not be able to show the real landscape views out of the windows, etc).
We will provide a link. This link opens the 360 tour in the provider's website. The link can be "embedded" in other websites (the virtual tour can be integrated in the agency's website without the need of opening the provider's site) for desktop and laptop devices only. For tables and mobiles, a link to the provider's site will be needed. The link will be available for 1 year. After that time it will be deactivated. The client can request to activate again (for additional cost).
